Joel Bishow has owned and operated his Architectural and Planning firm since licensure in 1986. He has broad experience on many different types of projects both in the private and public works sector and has successfully designed projects which range from commercial and industrial centers to single and multifamily residential communities.

With Civil Engineering experience early in his career, Joel draws on his strong practical background in structures and the principles of how a project and it's pieces fit together. This knowledge and experience enables Joel to be one who can address problems and issues as a challenge and solve them with expediency.

With regard to experience as it relates to public works type projects, Joel is compiling a history of several successful projects recently completed for the City of Brea. With knowledge of how the public bid process operates, concise construction documents and specifications manual, the administration of the project by the Architect leaves little to guesswork. Joel's knowledge of contracting and the laws and rules pertaining to such, provide his Owner / Clients, an advocate who can best represent their best interest during the construction process.

Mostly all projects come as a form of referral. Though the finished "instruments of service" (drawings) receive high praise, Client's have been known to share with others their positive experience of working with Joel.
